Employment Opportunity

B.S. in Mechanical Engineering
Experience in the petrochemical industry with a strong background in Oil and Gas Production and Refining.
Experience with pipe specifications, layouts and stress analysis.
Professional Engineering license preferred but not required.
Experience required in design, specification, application, and modification of rotating and fixed equipment, such as:
- Pressure vessels
- Heat exchangers
- Pumps
- Compressors
- Turbines
Experience also required in:
- P&ID development and review
- Piping layout
- Pipe Stress
- Equipment drawing review and approval.
Excellent working knowledge of ASME pressure vessel and piping codes and API standards.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organizational skills.
Strong computer skills - Microsoft Applications (Word/Excel) and engineering software programs, such as COMPRESS, and FEA programs.
Capable of some travel and remote site assignments.

Prepare detailed design of projects in compliance with governing codes, regulatory requirements and Client standards.
Estimating and scheduling
Solve problems by using a combination of standard procedures, modification of standard procedures, or methods developed in previous assignments.
Complete independent studies, analyses, interpretations and conclusions.
Give technical guidance to junior engineers and technicians.
Require some supervision and review of work for technical accuracy.
Able to be given an opportunity and then define the scope of work to accomplish.
