Qualifications
- B.S. in Engineering or Construction Management and 5 years in industrial engineering and/or industrial construction project work; with at least 3 years in project management or project controls; OR Minimum 10 years in industrial engineering and/or industrial construction project work; with at least 3 years in project management or project controls
- A thorough knowledge of earned value management methodology
- Experience working in the oil and gas industry preferred
- Strong communication skills
- Must work well in a team environment
- Self motivated and able to work with minimal direct supervision
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Project skills
- Primavera (P6) skills preferred
- Microsoft Access skills preferred
Responsibilities
Responsible for implementing and daily maintenance of Anvil's integrated project control system, which is used to: 1) develop the scope, and estimate/budget the engineering effort to execute the scope; and 2) report progress and performance against the scope and budget.
Responsible for preparing (or coordinating the preparation of) typical project control deliverables such as:
- Phase specific engineering schedules
- EPC project schedules
- Engineering cost estimates
- EPC project cost estimates
- Weekly engineering progress and performance reports
- Weekly engineering cost reports
- Monthly EPC project cost reports
- Engineering change logs
- EPC change logs
Work with Anvil's Program Manager(s) to provide:
- Oversight of engineering projects to ensure they are operating within project control guidelines
- Monthly resource level staff (manpower) planning
- Monthly reporting of key performance indicators (KPI) to companies management
- Monthly review of companies billings to clients
Applicant will supervise and mentor any junior level Project Controls personnel which may be working under them.
