As Quality Manager, Ross oversees the quality of our deliverables. He establishes annual goals and metrics and works with all disciplines to ensure we continue to meet our clients’ expectations and our own standards of quality and consistency.
Ross joined Anvil in 1997 as a Mechanical Engineer, completing detailed discipline engineering for several of our primary clients. Ross then served as a Discipline lead, managing the mechanical work for several of Anvil’s largest projects. He joined the Project Management Group in 2009 and managed our Anchorage office from 2010–2011. Upon his return to Bellingham, Ross served as the Mechanical Resource Manager and then Manager of Resources until becoming Manager of Engineering in 2016. In 2021, he became Quality Manager.
Ross brings over 30 years of mechanical engineering, construction management, and mechanical design experience in the petrochemical industry. He’s also worked in the Pulp and Paper industry and started out in the trades as a machinist working in heavy oil research and development.
Ross holds a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Calgary. He has a Journeyman Machinist Red Seal certification from the Province of Alberta and is a Registered Professional Engineer in the Province of British Columbia.
