At Anvil, our greatest strength lies in our people – not just for their technical expertise, but for the values they bring to everything they do. Today, we’re proud to highlight Sara Schantz, Project Coordinator in our Billings Branch.
While she expertly manages complex deliverables by day, her evenings and weekends are devoted to making a profound difference in Montana communities and beyond.
Sara is directly involved with Daughters of the Nile, who has helped channel over $2.4 million annually to Shriners Children’s Hospitals. Their recent efforts helped bring 75 stuffed “Ginny” emotional support dogs to young patients at Spokane Shriners – with another batch ready for the holidays. As a head “Saucy Lady” for the annual Pizzaritto Bake Fundraiser along with her sister, Sara has turned community events like these into powerful forces for good.
Sara’s volunteer portfolio includes:
– Montana Rescue Mission & Food Bank support
– Eagle Mount recreational programs for individuals with disabilities
– Scottish Rite Language Clinic advocacy
– Service dog organization assistance
– Child abuse prevention initiatives
“Volunteering has been an important part of my life for as long as I can remember,” Sara shares. “Community service is one of the most fulfilling things I can do for myself and others.”
Thank you, Sara, for showing us that true excellence includes compassion and support throughout our communities!
