SUMMARY
The Senior DevOps Developer at Anvil must possess a skill set in .NET, ASP.NET Core, REST APIs, Azure Services, Xamarin, React Native, Entity Framework, Dapper, Azure DevOps, Git, etc.. You will participate in both sustaining existing applications, as well as the design and development of new complex applications and suites of tools.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Lead and participate in requirements meetings with project stakeholders
  • Lead and participate in design sessions and solution architecture centered around custom MS Teams applications
  • Author design documentation
  • Enhance monitoring and timely resolution of issues
  • Improve the software build, deploy, and continuous integration capabilities to improve quality and development efficiency
  • Work with project managers to provide task lists and estimates
  • Automate build, test, and deployment processes
  • Develop the solution
  • Be an active participant in both sides of code reviews
  • Demonstrate your work to the team and the project’s stakeholders
  • Develop and execute test plans
  • Plan and participate in activities around project go-live

Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Full-Stack Development
  • .NET Core, .NET Standard and/or .NET Framework (C#, ASP.NET MVC, Entity Framework, LINQ)
  • Cross-Platform Mobile Development (Xamarin, React Native, iOS, Android)
  • Specialized knowledge of MS Teams API
  • API Development (Web API, REST, SOAP, WCF)
  • Relational Databases (Azure SQL DB, SQL Server, etc.)
  • Client-Side Web Development (JavaScript and JS Frameworks)
  • Structured Source Code Management (Git preferred)
  • Azure Services

Preferred Skills:

  • Azure IoT Services along with MS Teams API would be a big plus
  • Experience architecting multi-tier .NET applications
  • Experience interfacing with BIM software APIs
  • Engineering analysis or BIM experience
  • Experience documenting requirements and authoring software specifications
  • Microservices architecture and development
  • Prior engineering consulting experience
  • Prior experience with engineering tools such as CAD, solid modeling

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • 8+ years professional experience
  • .NET: 3 years (Preferred)
  • Azure: 1 year (Preferred)

Physical Requirements:

  • Able to sit, type, and perform computer work, and answer incoming calls for long periods of time
  • Frequent use of hands/fingers for computer entry
  • Able to perform occasional bending, lifting, and reaching

Additional Requirements:

  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screen
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States
